Council Candidate Hodge Calls Foul on Vacancy Process

I was one of the 25 initial applicants to replace Richard Skorman on City Council.

On the initial questionnaire, I listed that no one should have to choose between a jab and a job. Shockingly, I was not considered.

I was sent an email that went to my spam box from Michael Montgomery requesting a resume. He then called me two hours before that deadline stating he needed it. I haven’t updated my resume since 2017. They had no intention of asking me any questions, because I’m an outsider.

I guarantee they didn’t like my response to TABOR as well.

I am outraged that they gave this seat to a person who just moved into the district. She does not have our interests at heart. I will be running for this seat in 2023 and would love to discuss the matters that most concern your organization. I fully support the taxpayers bill of rights. I am against any mandate for masks or vaccines. I am infuriated by the “fees” imposed to skate TABOR, starting with the stormwater fee. I fully support our men and women in blue.

    1. Not sure how, not one question was ever asked for me to display any attitude. I guess that’s what elections are for. For lots more attitude, follow me during the election. We’ve only just begun. Come now, let us reason together.

    2. Why would the Council consider a person who doesn’t even try to put their best foot forward? Too bad. so sad. Get a Can Do Attitude and maybe you’ll go somewhere. Quit acting like a victim

      1. I am not claiming to be a victim, on the contrary I plan to put my best foot forward during the campaign. It’s really quite simple.
I plan to convince the majority of 80,000 citizens that it is time to put the needs of the people ahead of government.
I plan to convince the majority of 80,000 citizens that is is time to stop living in fear, cowering to the tyranny of the few.
I plan to convince the majority of 80,000 citizens that they are indeed children of God, endowed by their Creator by certain inalienable rights. Among those being the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
I plan to convince the majority of 80,000 citizens that it is time to exorcise those rights before they are gone forever.
I hope to convince you one day.
Come now, and let us reason together.

  1. I wasn’t given an opportunity to display any attitude. Fear not though, this election I will display plenty. These are serious times for thoughtful men and women. Come now, and let us reason together.
